Opportunity- You will serve as the primary point of contact for both customers and couriers at Postmates, a same-day delivery startup here in San Francisco. Postmates has been featured in NYTimes, FastCompany, BusinessWeek, SFChronicle, Wall Street Journal and a number of local tech blogs.
As an ideal candidate, you are friendly, organized, and a master of multi-tasking. You have 3+ years of experience in customer service and are looking for a challenging environment where your work will directly impact the success of the business. Customer Service is the heart of our company and plays an extremely important role in the growth of Postmates. We are looking for someone that not only strives to be the best but will also exceed expectations and contribute new ideas. The basics of the position include:

+ Inbound/outbound calls
+ Dispatching courier jobs
+ Responding to customer support tickets in a comprehensive and timely manner
+ Answering customer questions via phone and e-mail
+ Fielding inbound inquiries from merchants
+ Maintaining constant communication with couriers and ensuring the board is running smoothly

3+ years experience in a direct customer service position
Comfortable with technology and able to walk customers through our iPhone app
Previous courier and/or dispatch experience is a huge plus
General knowledge of San Francisco city layout

Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Outgoing personality and great phone etiquette
Responsible, highly dependable, organized and a fast learner
Excellent time management and problem solving skills
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Familiarity with cycling around the city also a plus
