This individual within the Customer Service Department will work directly with our customers to provide after sales service and support to ensure the timely resolution of issues and to fulfill all the needs of our interior door customers; must be able to communicate, coordinate, and document information in a professional, organized, and efficient manner to ensure world-class customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Initiate and maintain accurate service records for all qualifying claims.
-Create parts orders and field service dispatches as needed.
-Schedule dispatches and inform customers of appointment dates.
-Generate and provide customers with quotes for chargeable services.
-Troubleshoot and advise customers on service related issues and/or product information.
-Maintain frequent communication with customers, sales representatives and our business partner
to keep them informed of the progress of each claim.
-Ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution for all incidents of customer dissatisfaction that have been reported.
-Communicate with customers in person, via telephone, fax and email.
-Computer data entry of general index and marginal documents, scanning, filing and map maintenance.
- Retrieves and assembles information acquired from various sources to be used in the process all types of descriptions.
Qualities and Qualifications:
-High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum of two (2) years customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Office/Administrative experience desired
-Proficient with Microsoft Office products and computer data entry.
-Customer service-oriented with a positive demeanor.
-Effective problem solving skills.
-Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to work in a fast paced team environment with strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines is critical.
-Door assembly or general construction knowledge is a plus
-Product knowledge preferred.
