DESCRIPTION

The CSR's primary responsibility is to answer questions and address issues from members and providers regarding benefit coverage and claim status. Must be able to work varying shifts Monday - Friday and every Saturday.

DUTIES

Answering incoming calls from members and providers regarding benefit coverage and claim status Adhering to the schedule and talk times Following up with other departments to resolve member/provider issues Mailing correspondence and x-rays as needed Assisting with additional departmental duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong verbal communication skills Excellent customer service philosophy Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Internet research Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 0-2 years prior customer service experience § Answering incoming calls from members and providers regarding benefit coverage and claim status§ Adhering to the schedule and talk times § Following up with other departments to resolve member/provider issues§ Mailing correspondence and x-rays as needed§ Assisting with additional departmental duties as needed
