Customer Service Representative –
  • Laboratory Services (SOCH):

    Primary responsibilities are to act as the liaison between the Laboratory Department and any customer having a relationship with the Catholic Health System Department of Laboratory Services and providing high quality Customer Service.

    REPORTS TO: Customer Relations Manager

    SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):

    EDUCATION:
    ·
    High School diploma or GED
    · Associates degree preferred
    EXPERIENCE:
    ·
    Two (2) years in laboratory setting preferred or customer service field preferred
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: .
    · Possess excellent communication skills – written, oral, interpersonal
    · Clear understanding of medical terminology
    · Working knowledge of LIS/HIS and PC-based such as MS Word and Excel preferred
    · Customer service skills as demonstrated in current or previous job experience, documented training/inservices
    · Ability to handle multiple complex issues under pressure without demonstrating any sign of frustration or disorganization
    · Have the initiative and ability to demonstrate ultimate concern for the customers, anticipating their needs and going beyond their expected levels of service
    · Demonstrated telephone etiquette techniques
