Diabetes Specialty Center, a Byram Healthcare company is currently seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative in Salt Lake City, Utah. Qualified Candidates must have strong organizational skills as well as the ability to research and respond to high volume telephone inquiries and process outbound calls in a professional manner.

Job Responsibilities

Successful Applicants:

1. Must respond quickly and professionally to customer telephone questions and concerns while maintaining the required performance standards.

Basic Function
1. Provide superior service to customers through a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
2. Represent the company at all times in a professional, caring and courteous manner.
3. Promote business growth through ensuring all customers are aware of all product offerings.

Responsibilities
1. Must respond quickly and professionally to customer telephone questions and concerns while maintaining the required performance standards.
2. Receive and process customer orders and insurance claims.
3. Apply sound insurance knowledge in regard to products and services to best meet customer’s needs.
4. Receive customer inquiries, complaints, comments via telephone or walk-in in a positive, helpful and professional manner.
5. Ensure complete and accurate client records by making corrections and/or modifications and contacting clients as needed.
6. Timely follow up with tasks and customer issues.
7. Collect co-pays/payments and insert data into computer system, as needed.
8. Educate clients to ensure proper use of their diabetes equipment and supplies.
9. Answer multi-line telephone, take messages, transfer calls to appropriate personnel.
10. Operate standard office/store equipment, including multi-line telephone, facsimile machine, photocopy machine, computer, printer, cash register, credit card machine, etc.
11. Monitor facsimile machine and direct incoming documents to appropriate personnel.
12. Process client information as quickly as possible to enhance the company’s image.
13. Request prescriptions from physicians and follow through to see that prescriptions are received and entered into customer data files.
14. Assist in the education and training of new Customer Service Representatives as requested.
15. Address customer concerns in a friendly and professional manner and coordinate to correct and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner. Recommend appropriate corrective service(s).
16. Check files for missing documentation/information and collect needed items from customer as assigned.
17. Communicate and provide feedback to supervisor and NPS Manager and Coordinator regarding customer service trends.
18. Support and enhance a customer centric culture within the company.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma, some college work preferred
2. Minimum 2 years Customer Service experience
3. Familiarity with medical terminology a plus
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5. Must be reliable (If not please do not apply)
6. Experience with Diabetes, wound care, ostomy products
7. Bilingual, a plus
