Part-time, temporary position

Provide customers with retail assistance; provide information about products; record customer sales with charge accounts or cash; make change.

Prepares work to be accomplished by reviewing work orders and assembling materials.

Prepares digital equipment for use by scanning hard copy originals, distributing files for printing,loading paper and setting specifications for job.

Establishes quality by printing a proof copy and adjusting settings accordingly.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, notifying supervisor of need for repairs.

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, verifying receipt of supplies.

Maintains staff confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential; maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing relates results as needed.

Job Requirements:
Assists customers in copy shop environment by producing copies of printed materials or digital media using state-of the-art digital document production system.


: High school diploma or GED equivalent. One year in a retail or customer service environment taking orders, using a cash register and making change. Experience with personal computers.

Basic keyboarding skills; Microsoft Windows navigation skills; ability to use a cash register; ability to use bindery equipment; knowledge of customer service techniques.


: Copy shop experience; Mac computer skills.
