Major/Essential Duties of Job
The Customer Services Specialist will oversee the front desk and service area. Located in the University Center, this position will provide students, faculty and staff support and assist visitors to campus. Welcome visitors to campus and serve as front line for questions. Additionally, this position will serve as a campus resource for faculty and staff. Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes calls to appropriate area. Two (2) positions open. Other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience
One (1) year of college. Two (2) years of office and computer experience (word processing and spreadsheets). Must be capable of planning, organizing and working without supervision. Ability to work occasional extended hours. Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in university Admissions/Registrar's office; Financial Aid; and/or Advisement. A degree from a regionally accredited institution.
