The Director/Senior Director of Annual Giving directs the fundraising efforts supporting the annual giving programs of over 20 colleges and units. The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing the programs to fulfill the financial needs in alignment with the strategic initiatives of UF Units and Development and Alumni Affairs and UF Foundation, Inc. ( ODAA / UFF ). Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President for Development, the incumbent will serve as a strategic partner with the units and ODAA / UFF ensuring conformity with the central fund raising efforts and the overall university development and alumni programs and goals and in promoting a culture of philanthropy by broadening constituents’ understanding of the value of giving. Know the general practices of non-profit mail regulations. Have a general understanding of email software and its functions as they relates to design, execution and reporting.
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and eight years of appropriate experience.
