The Major Gifts Officer will be responsible for the cultivation and solicitation of major gifts to the Brody School of Medicine. The selected candidate will plan, organize, and implement major and planned gift fundraising for commitments of $25,000 and above; manage a portfolio of major and planned gift prospects by implementing appropriate cultivation and solicitation activities; prepare proposals and presentations for individual and corporate prospects; solicit and negotiategift agreements in accordance with policy; and assist with fundraising activities such as the Annual Fund and special events.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree from an appropriately accredited institution required; Master's degree from an appropriately accredited institution preferred with at least three years of experience in conducting successful personal solicitations for major gift fundraising in a higher education setting. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated competency in delivering presentations to individuals or groups. Ability to plan, organize, implement and supervise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
