The C4ISR business unit provides a variety of support services related to the maintenance and life cycle sustainment of US Navy, US Coast Guard and Customs and Border Patrol fielded C5I systems. We are focused on the design, systems engineering, project management, procurement, installation, training, testing, and field maintenance of these systems. In addition, our staff provides Hull, Mechanical and Electrical, as well as Weapons Systems design and installation support services, primarily for US Navy vessels. The business unit also provides turn-key solutions and Integrated Life Cycle services in system engineering, enterprise architecture, business process engineering, networks, telecommunications and IT and space system engineering, integration, installation and operations and maintenance for a diverse group of government and commercial customers worldwide.
This position is in the RED Switch at Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam, HI. The Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP)/ Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol (VOSIP) is a secure/non-secure conferencing network that provides mission critical voice and data communications for operational commands, senior level DoD and Office of the Secretary of Defense leadership to plan and implement wartime and peacetime operations. The position will be responsible for providing database management of the DRSN system to include subscriber adds, moves and deletes, database modification, backups, report creation, printing, backup, restore and purging of files. Additionally, the position will assist the government with managing the Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) VOIP and VOSIP databases to include performing adds, moves and deletions. Shall also be responsible for Enterprise Level Hardware/Software management to ensure compliance with all DISA System Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Approved Product List (APL), Time Compliance Network Orders (TCNO), and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). Travel will be required to other PACAF sites, including Yokota AB, Japan; Osan AB, Korea; and Misawa AB, Japan.
Required Skills and Experience:
Ability to comply with DoD8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program workforce requirements for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II) is required, including a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Information Assurance technology area and Security +CE, GSEC, SSCP or CCNA-Security certification. Completion of Secure Digital Switch (SDS) and/or Remote Switching Unit (RSU), Enhanced RSU (ERU) or Digital Small Switch (DSS-2A) certification or demonstration of equivalent knowledge is mandatory. Completion of Cisco IP Telephony, Part 1 (CIPT-1) course, equivalent commercial certification or demonstrated knowledge and experience is mandatory. A Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory. Strong customer relations skills and overall communications skills are mandatory. Prior DRSN Operations & Maintenance or engineering experience with DRSN systems and VoIP systems is desirable.
