Data Entry / File Clerk Job Responsibilities
Responsible for operating data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data.
Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered.
Proficient PC Knowledge (Excel, Word, Internet)
Customer Service Skills
Time Management and Organizational Skills
Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors.
Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Data Entry / File Clerk Skills Required to be considered:
Prefer - one year Mortgage Banking experience
2-4 years related experience required.
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time.
Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must also be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Work week is 40hrs per week 5 days a week, plus OT may be required. (Must be flexible on work schedule...Need to hire on 3rd shift, 2nd shift, and 1st shifts)
