We are seeking a
Data Entry Clerk - USE (Supply Technician)
at Schoefield Barracks, HI.
The Data Entry Clerk - Unit Supply Enhanced (DECU) will perform the full spectrum of Unit Supply Enhanced USE) application software in support of one or more of the following programs: Left Behind Equipment (LBE), Supply Support Activities (SSA), and/or Pre-Deployment Training Equipment (PDTE). The DECU serves as part of a supply and warehousing team that will be responsible for performing management or warehouse functions that include stock control and accounting procedures, procedures for shipping, and receiving, storing, and issuing stock.
Prepare necessary documentation (automated and manual) to track equipment shortage annexes in Unit Supply-Enhanced (USE) for hand receipt holders.
Manage and track all shortages from building shortages through ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing to hand receipt holders or Property Management Specialist (PMS).
Manage shortages on automated document register and status update reports for shortages assigned to hand receipt holders.
Inspect, inventory, load, unload, store, deliver and turn in organization and installation supplies and equipment while maintaining supporting document files for all actions performed.
Prepare all unit/organizational supply documents and maintain an automated supply system for accounting of organizational and installation supplies and equipment.
Perform inventory and financial management procedures, including ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and/or equipment.
In addition to Unit Supply Room functions this position will perform equipment inventory process when required.
May assist with all processes dealing with inventory procedures to include: equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts and shortage annex procedures, assist with cyclic and sensitive items inventories, relocation of equipment and materials, assist with tracking paperwork processes, safeguarding equipment through key control and storage requirements.
Military experience is beneficial and highly desired. Must present a professional image and represent the company in an appropriate manner. The following is the minimum criteria:
High school graduate or GED.
Graduate of the Army 92Y or 92A MOS school experience at Unit Supply level or 2 years equivalent experience.
Previous verifiable SARSS certification and experience working in the SSA environment.
Knowledge of PBUSE, Hand Receipt, Clothing record management or military warehouse operations and preferably a thorough understanding of TAMMS.
Must be familiar with reporting, maintaining files, transport, storage, turn-in, issues and inventory of military equipment.
Ability to pass a Drug Screening
Ability to pass Background and National Agency Checks
Possess a current driver's license
Ability to obtain and keep a Common Access Card (CAC)
Work Environment, Physical and Mental Demands
Works in an environment with military equipment, vehicles and both heavy and light equipment. Existing forklift license/experience desired. Must be able to safely lift and carry 35 pounds for short distances. Must be able to safely stoop, bend, kneel, walk across flat and uneven surfaced, use ladders, and climb in and out of equipment/vehicles. Outside work in hot weather is often required. Indoor work is often in buildings with climate control.
