Team Members of Data Management - Data, Reporting and Analytics for Symphony are responsible for documenting the “to-be” processes, defining performance metrics, and identifying and resolving process gaps related to data management. Incumbents are also responsible for understanding the data management issues for Finance functions in conjunction with other team members and consultants; participating in user acceptance testing with consultants; assisting in the creation of documentation and training materials, and delivering training during implementation.
Data Management Team Members possess an expert level of understanding of all of the business processes of the function they represent and serve as communications liaisons to Health Ministries during the implementation process.
As a Data Management Team Member, Finance - Data, Reporting, and Analytics - for Symphony, you are responsible for developing, documenting and reviewing business process design; identifying opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations that lead to improvements; escalating process and project issues that cannot be resolved to the functional manager; and successfully developing and documenting test cases.
Accountabilities also include monitoring task assignments to ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope, and to a defined level of quality; reporting progress to project management; providing subject-matter expertise of Ascension Health Ministry processes, policies, and requirements in support of functional area process design testing and implementing; coordinating with other team members to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product; and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

All commuting will be paid in accordance to Ascension Health's policy (relocation is not expected). Monday through Thursday work schedule will be on-site in St. Louis and working from home on Friday.
A Bachelor's in Business or related field, or the equivalent, is required; Master’s degree is preferred. Three to five (3 to 5) plus years of relevant experience in Data Management is required along with excellent planning, organizational, and decision-making skills; and prior experience in ERP implementations or large scale projects is highly desirable. The associate preferably will have a solid understanding of PeopleSoft functionality.

- Experience in process automation and Shared Service functionality
- Expertise in functional business area processes
- Working experience and/or expertise in Master Data Management
- Working knowledge of General Ledger, Departmental Accounting, Payroll, Time Management, Treasury Functions, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Business Analytics
- Critical thinking, analytical skills and business acumen needed to make decisions, solve problems and manage time
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to grasp technological opportunities and apply them to business opportunities and requirements
- Proficient in all Microsoft Products: OUTLOOK, WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, and VISIO
