Process Trident weapon system data, with the opportunity for merit-based advancement to increased responsibilities. Conduct quality control checks on data from initial delivery thru final merged data, applying problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve data discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.

Duties

:

Work as part of a team to execute software to produce data for engineering analysis. Select appropriate inputs, monitor execution, and verify outputs are complete. (65%)

Create and upload files to classified Internet server for external distribution. (15%)

Perform software testing when new versions become available. Interface with software developers to address issues. (10%)

Assist the Operations section with keeping procedures current by writing and updating test plans, scenario documents and processing checklists. (10%)

Qualifications

:

Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated relevant experience with executing software in the Microsoft Windows environment. At least three years of demonstrated recent experience with Microsoft Office products. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational & multi-tasking skills. Detail oriented, team player, flexible attitude regarding assignments, eager to learn.

Desired Qualifications:
Associates degree or post high school training in a technical field. Current security clearance. Data processing or data entry experience. Technical writing experience. Familiarity with the Trident weapon system. Software testing experience. Mathematical inclination.

Special Working Conditions:
Some processing must be performed in classified closed areas. Occasional weekend or evening hours are required for processing data during operations.

Security:
Top Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for an SSBI and access to classified information. Preference for current SSBI. Eligibility requirements include US citizenship.
