An advanced level position that directs the day-to-day activities of personnel involved in the execution, production and distribution of computer reports and the availability, stability and responsiveness of administrative systems. Coordinates the organization, implementation and execution of the Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) database and oversees security and access in relation to the database and associated systems. Responsible for prioritizing, scheduling, back-up, report processing, distribution and preventive maintenance activities. Supervision: Designs and executes a staffing plan to meet requirements through selection, training, and supervision of assigned staff. Supervises staff for both day and evening shifts (computer output production, Help Desk support). Responsible for performance measurement, security, installation, maintenance and enhancement of the operating system and system software on both UNIX and Microsoft platforms. Responsible for output production and system availability, stability and responsiveness; and distributing written application documentation. Creates and maintains application security protocol and supplies end-user set-up/access to administrative applications. Analyzes operations and equipment problems, identifies timely and cost-effective solutions, participates in decision making, and implements changes. Develops and maintains department procedures related to scheduling, production, forms inventory, equipment maintenance and staffing. Responsible for the back-up libraries. Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher with courses in data processing and four years of experience in computer operations/production in a large, multi-cost center operation or Associate degree and six years of experience in computer operations/production in a large, multi-cost center operation. Must have two (2) years of demonstrated supervisor experience of full time staff. Advanced knowledge of multi-value database or other ERP database operation systems, concepts and utilities. Available on call for emergencies. Demonstrated ability to schedule personnel and resources to maintain adequate support for a wide range of users. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, oral and written with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical information and communicate to users with varying levels of computer literacy. The ability to provide quality customer service.
