Accepting applications for: Database Administrator – Business Intelligence Analyst

The Database Administrator – Business Intelligence Analyst (DBA) is responsible for implementing and supporting multiple clustered and non-clustered SQL Server environments, ensuring database integrity, troubleshooting and maintaining SQL performance. In addition the DBA will work with developers and application support teams to create, implement and support database driven applications.

Responsibilities of this position may include:

Database Server Support

MS SQL Server database physical and logical design

Understand and evaluate business requirements as they relate to database solutions

Application Database Support

Work with outside vendors to ensure proper Server and database configurations are met

Ensure proper upgrades of the Databases during Application upgrades

Business Intelligence

Support, maintain and enhance performance of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

Responsible for maintaining security for SSRS environment

Communication

Participate in development as database lead

Work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on programming requests to determine feasibility and devise solutions

Requirements of this position include:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

3-5 years’ experience with MS SQL server (SQL 2008 and higher preferred)

1-3 years’ experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services

Knowledge of SQL Programming, Stored Procedures and Database Security

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
