UC Irvine's Office of Information Technology is looking for Database Developer who is passionate about making a difference and driven to the highest level of data integrity while writing excellent Transact-SQL code. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director, Systems Development, the incumbent will serve as Database Developer. S/he will be responsible for the development of efficient entity-relationship object models based on user functional requirements in collaboration with the application development team. The incumbent will also document, design, and implement efficient transact-SQL code implementing stored procedures, triggers, functions; as well as, writing complex queries using best practices in a high transaction environment. S/he will also be responsible for developing Crystal Reports for use by end users and developers; and will support the administration and management of the BusinessObjects report repository.
Salary: Range $59,676 - $91,905
Work Schedule: 8-5, M-F
May be required to work outside of working hours during critical processes, emergencies, maintenance windows, and to monitor and act on scheduled process jobs.
