We are seeking a Database Marketing Analyst to join our growing Marketing Department at our Corporate Office in Calabasas, CA
The Database Marketing Analyst is responsible for conducting deep customer segment and campaign analytics to inform our multi-channel customer contact strategy (direct mail, email, SMS, loyalty, POS). Your analytical expertise will ultimately deliver incremental sales and customer LTV while improving the profitability of the company. The Database Marketing Analyst is knowledgeable of direct marketing tactics and KPI's and is experienced applying statistical techniques to identify and optimize unique customer segments. Additionally the candidate will be the focal point for post mortem results analysis on marketing campaign performance across channels. The successful candidate is highly motivated with an insatiable curiosity for understanding consumer behavior and converting key findings into new revenue streams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform deep customer segment analysis to identify incremental revenue opportunity from existing customers through direct marketing tactics (direct mail, email, SMS, etc.)
Partner with Sr. Manager- Customer Segmentation to develop segmentation contact and offer strategies that increase customer engagement and retention.
Support marketing campaign strategies and methodologies with analytics to identify optimal offers, pricing, messaging, and contact cadence for each customer segment.
Partner with Database Marketing team and Category Management team to inform and execute the campaign strategies against targeted segments.
Calculate and present projected ROI and LTV from campaigns and customer segments.
Track, measure, and analyze segment level and campaign level performance and customer trends; summarize and communicate key learnings to key stakeholders.
Create and implement test, learn, and repeat process to optimize and improve performance of customer segments and database.
Manage development and ongoing improvement of 3 rd party statistical response models, drive appropriate changes, updates, etc. to improve model performance.
Perform ad hoc analyses and utilize relational databases to support customer contact and segmentation efforts.
Cross-functional collaboration with category management, pricing, retail ops, and finance teams to develop effective promotion strategies and communicate results

Education and/or Experience:
3 - 5 years of direct marketing, customer segmentation, database marketing experience.
Experience working with CRM databases and segmentation modeling.
Strong quantitative skills, attention to detail, a high aptitude for problem solving, and a deep interest in consumer behavior.
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, & Excel and SQL and other data reporting tools.
Experience with campaign management software and business intelligence tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoys sharing information/expertise with a large audience.
B.A. in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related fields required. Masters degree a plus.

Physical Requirements:
General office environment, ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move about an office.
