GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : This position is responsible for executing all marketing database efforts to increase Greektown Casino-Hotel’s competitive advantage.The position is also responsible for timely and accurate reporting of results as requested by Management.

SUPERVISES : As assigned by Marketing Department Head

TYPICAL PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting or standing; Must be able to reach, bend crouch, kneel, twist and work at a desk when performing most job functions; Must be able to move freely about the hotel and casino; requires the use of office equipment such as computer, telephone, copy machine, fax, micro-film machine, and typewriter; requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols; requires normal vision range and absence of color blindness; regular, predictable attendance required. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; Regular, predictable attendance required

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS : Work is generally performed in an office environment. Contact with staff and the public may be necessary; Schedule may include late evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs


EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (includes, but is not limited to, the following):

1. Supervise departmental tasks, projects, and deadlines;

2. Provide interdepartmental direction of database and direct marketing initiatives;

3. Determine departmental tasks that are of a recurring nature and enforce completion of those tasks;

4. Review proformas, post analyses, accounting, financial analytic support of Marketing strategies and plans and determine required direction for the implementation of plans and Revenue building initiatives;

5. Design simple and complex queries using structured query language (SQL);

6. Shall determine when/type Data Ware House reports to be generated;

7. Develop and customize comprehensive analysis of all Data Ware House extracts on the gaming floor or for Marketing Strategies;

8. Attend meetings as scheduled and hold regular meetings with staff ;

9. Comply with all health and safety standards;

10. Comply with company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and be available to work on a regular basis;

11. Ensure that Superior Guest Service levels are met according to Standard Operating Procedures; and

12. Other job-related duties as assigned.
