Datapath Circuit Design
In this position, you will be part of Intel's Mobile CPU Development Team working on the next
generation technology. You will be responsible for CPU chip design and development. Responsibilities may include: the design of chip layout circuit design'' circuit checking'' device evaluation and characterization'' documentation of specifications'' prototype construction and checkout'' modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components'' performing developmental and/or test work'' reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams'' planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. Good communication skills and problem solving skills.
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through your educational level research and/or relevant job/internship experiences.
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
One VLSI circuit design class in school
One circuit design project in school
Preferred knowledge of Intel architecture, PC system architecture and general
Prior experience or knowledge in Pre-Silicon
Good programming skills in a programming language such as C or Perl, assembly language, UNIX*
Knowledge of a hardware description language (Very High-level Design Language (VHDL),
Verilog* or iHDL*) would be an added advantage.
Validation and familiarity with industry standard tools such as Specman* and Debussy* would be an
