We have an immediate opening available for a Dealix Sales Representative (DSR) . The Dealix Sales Representative (DSR) role is a field based sales position that will be responsible for generating new sales to Dealers of Dealix’s New and Used Lead programs. DSRs will work independently to drive their sales results. Success in this position will require a combination of highly effective sales skills, along with well developed organization skills, as this role will cover multiple states. The DSR will report to the Director of Sales (DOS) for the assigned Regional area. This job will involve extensive travel of approximately 60%, as in most cases he/she will cover a multi-state territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES Sales of Dealix New & Used Car lead programs to franchise dealerships (excluding National/Enterprise Accounts) Expected sales targets of $1M in annual Quota Credit, e.g. to be generated from 15 New &/or Used Agreements closed per month Field selling activity with dealerships – Expect 3 days/week in the field interacting with prospective dealers Developing and executing monthly, and quarterly, plans that focus on maximizing success with “high value” prospects, and supplying weekly updates to sales management to include: Overall accomplishments/progress/upcoming plans Weekly activities (logged in Salesforce.com) Monthly sales forecast Current Sales opportunity pipeline (with detail, including market updates, kept current in Salesforce.com)
Experience, Skills, Academic:
QUALIFICATIONS 4 year college degree or equivalent experience Must have a minimum of 5 years of prior Sales experience Prior sales experience selling Dealix (or competitive) Lead programs to dealerships Well developed and sales skills of Lead and/or Advertising programs to Auto Dealers Experience at creating and implementing sales programs/initiatives that drove significant top/bottom line results Prior experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, especially field sales and sales management teams; well developed skills at working with large teams of salespeople (20+) to drive sales results Knowledge of automotive, finance/insurance and technology industries strongly preferred Ability to travel approximately 60% or more is required SKILLS Prior sales experience selling Dealix (or competitive) Lead / Advertising programs to car dealerships Prior success/accomplishments in selling Lead &/or Ad programs to Auto Dealers, e.g. top 20% of a team Experience at creating/implementing sales programs & initiatives that drove significant top/bottom line results Prior experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, especially field/inside sales/sales management Well developed decision making skills. Creative & resourceful, yet pragmatic. An independent thinker & problem solver, adept at building consensus when it comes to executing decisions Adept/accomplished at designing & executing sales strategies Disciplined with a fine attention to detail, & excellent organizational skills. Superior time management skills & the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. Operational excellence: experience generating & maintaining reports; adept at analyzing data & implementing sales strategies to drive incremental results Ability to work comfortably in an ongoing, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Superior oral & written communication skills are required (grammar, spelling & professional presentation) Well developed computer skills with MS Excel, PowerPoint and sales automation tools (e.g. Salesforce.com)
