Provides administrative, secretarial and receptionist support to the Office of the Dean of Studies and specifically to the Dean of Studies and the Director of Undergraduate Research. Must work independently to organize and complete several major projects throughout the year. Assist students, faculty and parents with questions and direct them as appropriate. Work closely with other departments on campus for assistance in completing various projects. Work with outside organizations for assistance in completion of several major projects. Organize daily routine to accommodate a high volume of telephone calls and work with students/faculty entering and exiting the office, while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.

Qualifications Two year degree or equivalent with three to five years of clerical work experience, preferably in an academic environment. Must be highly motivated, demonstrated aptitude for detailed administrative work, ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, ability to work effectively using sound judgment without close supervision, and experience in bookkeeping and computer applications including Microsoft Office and Datatel. Knowledge of CMS (Content Management System web-program), the card program and the software programs, Works and IFAS accounting a plus. Must also have well developed organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
