Demand Planning Manager – Specialty & Foodservice Sales
Lead with us as you manage volume forecasting for assigned categories, customers, and/or sales regions within the Specialty Channels Sales organization. Develop and maintain short and long-range volume shipment forecasts based on Sales and Demand Planning consensus, IBP and Financial forecasts.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as Demand Planning Manager at Kellogg, you will be part of our success by:
Managing sku-channel -location level demand forecasts for assigned categories. Long range forecasting responsibilities are at channel-sku level.
Executing the consensus process driving alignment between Specialty Channel’s Business Management, APO, and IBP.
Collaborate with Sales Planning, Sales Zone Directors, and Marketing to drive accuracy improvement by using fact based analytics to reduce bias in the forecasts. This includes regular attendance in monthly sales consensus and innovation review meetings.
Operate as a link between Field Sales, Business Management, and Production Planning to ensure that projected demand is properly communicated.
Assist the sales team in determining the feasibility and product availability of material in the near-term for promotional and distribution opportunities.
Assess and drive enhancement of APO statistical models for demand planning and manage exceptions.
Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Zone Directors to ensure timely visibility to Innovation, PWR, and shipper forecasts.
Perform forecasting system user maintenance.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
HS Diploma/GED plus extensive experience in analytics, supply chain planning, forecasting, or sales support in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and time constraints
High proficiency with MS Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables
SAP, B1P reporting, and APO Demand planning experience
Strong experience with integrating activities across departments
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Ability to travel, approximately 10% of the time
