This Limited Duration Float Pool Dental Assistant position is with the Oregon Department of Corrections, Operations Division in the Health Services section. The incumbent will be duty stationed at Two Rivers Correctional Institution (TRCI) in Umatilla, but will also support Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution (EOCI) in Pendleton. The duration of this position is six months and will include benefits. This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants.

Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of this position is to provide direct assistance to the dentist while performing dental treatment and to ensure instruments, supplies and equipment are available for patient care.

Qualifications & Desired Attributes

Any license/certification information must be listed in the "Certificates and Licenses" section of your application .
- one year of chair-side dental assisting experience; AND
- be able to obtain a Certification by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry for Radiological Proficiency; AND
- possess a valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) card at the time of appointment.
