As a full time Dental Assistant, you will provide chair-side and removed assistance to dental staff and patients. This includes assisting with laboratory and x-ray procedures, preparing exam areas and patients for examination by physician, recording patients’ medical history and other relevant data, assisting dentists with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures, appointment scheduling as well as other assigned duties. You will perform delegated dental functions under the direction of a licensed dentist in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations, in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines.
In order to qualify for this position, you must:
- Be a graduate of an accredited dental assistant course, including current certification and registration as a dental assistant.
- Have one or more years of experience working in a dental clinic.
- Experience using EagleSoft or equivalent clinic management software.
