This role is part of the Display Operations Team within the Sales-Operations & Strategy group at Yahoo! The Display Operations team is responsible for display advertising platform operations and support. We represent the single entry point for issues/questions related to our Display Ad Platform, supporting both Y! employees as well as external Publishers/Advertisers. We are currently seeking a Deployment Manager/Tier 2 Business and Technical Support rep that has a proven ability to understand the display ad-serving business and technology, can thrive in an environment that is customer focused, and can deliver exceptional results on behalf of our advertisers, network and publisher clients.
Primary Qualifications include:
1-4 years of exposure to the internet advertising market in any meaningful capacity
Proven experience educating clients on use of ad serving products or platforms
Act as intermediate support to effectively triage and troubleshoot platform issues escalated from the Tier 1 customer care team
Ability to understand and explain technology to clients
Proven experience in or demonstrated passion for hands-on use of advertising technology and/or project management skills
Ability to take ownership of problems
Technical proficiency with HTML, Web browsers, javascript and ad tags
Experience working in support ticketing systems
Well developed skills as a hands-on consultant
Outstanding verbal and written communication
Tier 2 Business/Technical Support reps are evaluated on the following:
Foster and maintain close working relationships with clients and internal partners
Ability to successfully work hand-in-hand with engineering, development and product management teams to assist in resolution of platform issues
Effectively work with clients to ensure they can leverage our advertising technologies on a day-to-day basis
Explain technology issues in business terms
Enthusiastically take on special projects that would support our team and our clients
Help new team members grow professionally, and inspire them for excellence
