You are responsible for pursuing Deployment sales opportunities, however you’ll also be required to have a comprehensive understanding of all POS Portal products & services including but not limited to application software, professional services, hosting of applications and support through POS Portal Business Mgmt Solutions. You own the sales process from initial prospecting to close of the sale and you will represent POS Portal at various industry events and client engagements.

Solicit and acquire new Deployment Service Clients in the Merchant / Payment acquiring industry, targeting financial institutions and Independent Sales Organizations.
Use of strategic sales and account planning tools to prepare and maintain a daily, ongoing pipeline of Deployment and Software Sales opportunities which will effectively illustrate the total revenue opportunity.
Work closely with marketing to strategically market our Deployment services.
Establish and maintain relationships with industry influences and key strategic partners.
Plan and organize the sales process with all POS Portal team members who assist in support of the sales process. In addition adhere to a defined approach to inter-company communications and reporting of sales activities.
Represent company at trade association meetings to promote entire POS Portal product suite.
Prepares client specific sales demonstrations and presentations. Negotiate contracts terms and conditions, prepare pricing term sheets, etc.
Participate in Strategic Planning process by providing potential client perception of current products and services as well as demand for new products and positioning.
Provide account insight and strategy in support of the sale of all POS Portal products and services, including those which may not be included in incentive compensation.
You have industry knowledge and experience selling Large Regional Merchant Acquiring solutions such as merchant processing and services to Large Regional Retailers or Independent Sales Organizations and financial institutions. You have a proven track record in selling Payments Industry products. You’re an expert at identifying new business opportunities.
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred and;
5+ years related experience in the selling of deployment services, merchant processing and or related acquiring products to national and large regional retailers, ISO’s or agent banks or;
Equivalent combination or education and experience
