Responsible for the daily operational procedures of the Deposit Services Department. Assist staff with unique problems in unposted, payment decisions, monitoring of stop payments, return deposited items, large dollar signature verification, research, statement rendering, DOS and Fresh Start Recovery processing. Responsible for special instructions related to deposit item returns in Bankway. Compile weekly reports. Ensure procedures are up to date and staff is cross-trained and familiar with regulations. Track all errors and cover with team members and Manager. Balance GL accounts. Set up and monitor daily statement cycles. Maintain quality assurance standards in accordance with USPS for manifest processing of all statements and notices.
Applicant must possess an Associate degree or higher, five years banking experience and supervisory experience. Must possess basic PC skills and knowledge of all Microsoft office products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of proper English and punctuation is necessary. We expect high performance from every employee.
