The Desktop Support Administrator reports to the IT Manger and involves daily support of the technology infrastructure and working closely with the entire company. This position is based in San Francisco and will be required to spend some time in our Walnut Creek office (less than 20%).

  • Daily support of a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • New Hire deployments
  • Hardware and Software support
  • Inventory management
  • Windows Active Directory administration
  • Contribute to new technology evaluations and implementations
  • Be part of on-call rotations and after hours support
  • Mobile device support (iOS/Android)
  • Cisco VOIP system administration
  • Google Apps Administration
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of prior work experience in a startup function or sports television OR digital media industry
  • Strong Windows 7 knowledge, and previous Active Directory administration experience
  • Strong OSX support knowledge, experience with AD integration a huge bonus
  • Strong support experience of Google Apps, MS Office and Outlook
  • Previous VOIP configuration/administration (Cisco Communications Manager preferred)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP Networking and VPN technologies
  • The desire to go above and beyond on a regular basis
  • Proven ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
  • A “Can Do” customer service attitude
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Passionate about Pac-12 Sports
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Travel required to Walnut Creek (20%)
  • Other duties as assigned by the IT Manager
  • Knowledge of digital media industry including online, TV everywhere, mobile, tablets and other emerging technologies
  • Experience with VM Ware virtualization technologies or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting Video Conference technologies
  • Windows and Apple imaging solutions experience
  • Experience supporting Adobe Premier and Creative Cloud suite
  • Experience with Zendesk (or equivalent) for work load and case management
  • Strong knowledge of Lenovo laptop and desktop hardware
