As a IT Desktop Support Technician at Yelp in our San Francisco office, you will be the escalation point for tier 2 related issues in our Information Technology support organization. You will be responsible for supporting employees across the office be it Mac, Windows, phones, video conferencing, training or general assistance.
We are looking for someone experienced and confident enough to own tier 2 IT support for this location as well as supporting our global offices. The ability to deliver world class customer service is key to success in this position. Moreover, as Yelp is primarily an Apple environment we are looking for someone who can comfortably live and breath in the Mac space. Lastly, you will also have the opportunity to work closely with your counterparts in other offices from Phoenix to London.

Manage escalation ticket queue by priority
Google Apps support
Meeting support using local A/V equipment & LifeSize Video Conferencing equipment
HP & Ricoh MFP printer hardware support along with Windows print server support
Desktop related network support & troubleshooting
2+ years of Desktop Support in a Mac environment
Very strong customer service skills
Expertise in supporting current releases of OS X
Proficiency in supporting Windows XP & 7
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Strong understanding of Networking protocols
Knowledge of IP Phone systems and associated concepts
Ability to excel in a fast paced, team focused environment with little supervision
