Your responsibilities as a software engineer would be to define, scope, architect, and implement scalable solutions for our health management platform. You will be working primarily with Microsoft .NET technologies including ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, VB.NET, and Entity Framework. The most pressing need is for engineers experienced in service oriented architecture and the design of n-tier applications.
Working with a team to figure out what to build and how to build it
Writing clean code and maintaining excellent documentation
Performing code reviews and providing mentoring
Mastering Scrum software development methodology
Expert in backend object-oriented programming (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET)
Solid understanding of web services (REST/SOAP)
Good understanding of databases and ORMs (SQL Server, Entity Framework)
Intense passion for programming
Communication skills to clearly articulate and defend design decisions
Healthcare industry knowledge
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field
Experience working in Agile or Scrum software development environment
