Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation department is the fundraising arm of Children's. Gifts to the Foundation support treatment programs, provide support for patients and families, fund medical research, and raise awareness of pediatric health issues throughout the community.
The Development Associate, Corporate Development is responsible for supporting the corporate development team to develop relationships with corporate donors in order to meet yearly fiscal and donor participation goals including major giving and partnerships, cause marketing, corporate volunteerism and employee giving. This role also provides direct support to the portfolio of the Sr. Director of Corporate Development.
Work in conjunction with the Director of Corporate Development and Corporate Development Team to manage corporate donor acquisition, renewal, acknowledgement and stewardship through a variety of internal and external campaigns.
Cooperatively work with the corporate team to effectively meet all yearly fiscal and donor participation goals.
Support Sr. Director of Corporate Giving in presentation and proposal development.
Project manage and oversee the expansion and implementation of corporate volunteering opportunities and associated materials including volunteer and internal staff relationship management, timeline development, cost effectiveness, and meeting deliverables.
Create and produce effective marketing and web materials for corporate development officers and cause-related marketing partnerships.
Ensure timely, accurate acknowledgement of corporate gifts, accurate listing in publications and other meaningful methods of donor recognition.
Develop tracking mechanisms to measure outcomes of solicitation efforts and to analyze outcomes.
Perform donor stewardship phone calls, setup donor meetings and appointments; assist in crafting and writing of donor and partner correspondence.

* Bachelor's degree preferred, or related experience that demonstrates equivalent knowledge and skills. * Three or more years experience in an annual giving capacity, with solid understanding and practical application of basic fundraising techniques and principles OR three or more years in a related sales and constituent related function. * Strong level of comfort with using technology for create job efficiencies. * Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; can effectively prioritize own work with limited direction. * Ability to build relationship and solicit donors. * Solid knowledge of computers and donor databases (Raiser's Edge preferred); skilled in presentation development (PowerPoint, Keynote, Presi). * Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. * Positive attitude, quick learner, proactive problem solving skills, demonstrated ability and willingness to take on increased responsibility. * Ability to maintain confidentiality with donor and organizational information. * Strong technology proficiency, particularly with social media and presentation tools.
