Children's Hospitals and Clinics Foundation department is the fundraising arm of Children's. Gifts to the Foundation support treatment programs, provide support for patients and families, fund medical research, and raise awareness of pediatric health issues throughout the community.
The Institutional Support Development Associate position will be responsible for assisting the Institutional Support Officer in executing pre- and post-submission activities in support of meeting the Foundation's annual financial and funder engagement goals. The role will include prospect research, administrative support in organizing meetings with clinical and financial partners and proposal preparation teams. The role will include preparing basic proposals, progress reports, and case statements, as well as supporting the Institutional Support Officer in preparing more complex proposals and reports. The role also carries responsibility for proposal submission and award record-keeping in Raiser's Edge and with the Foundation Finance office. The role also includes developing and maintaining the case statement and proposal library for use by all Foundation staff.
* Bachelor s degree and two (2) years successful experience in grant seeking and fundraising
* Strong relationship building skills with both funders and hospital colleagues
* Excellent research and oral/written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
