Overview:
Perform maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, baggage systems, boarding bridges and/or facilities.

Responsibilities:
1.Performs servicing/repairing, lubricating, cleaning, period checking of automotive equipment and facilities.
2.Compliance with ELS safety program policies and procedures.
3.Removal, replacement and checking of fire extinguishers.
4.Lay-out, planning and execution of complex maintenance assignments requiring knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and/or electronic systems. In addition, skills in carpentry, painting and/or welding may be required. Knowledge of heavy, medium and light duty trucks and automobiles, machine shop equipment or other similar skills are also required.
5.Perform the sequence of operations to troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, install and adjust many building components, plant equipment, automotive and ground equipment, machinery, accessories, parts, etc., and explaining the work procedures to personnel assigned to assist in that work.
6.Work according to Company regulations and procedures, and instruction from Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
7.Completes forms connected with his work assignments according to established procedures.
8.Will communicate with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company.
9.Ability to work in tight and/or high spaces using appropriate PPE and fall protection equipment.
10.Ability to read and understand repair manuals and supervisor/manager’s instructions, especially in an urgent and/or emergency situation.
11.May be required to use a laptop computer to diagnose and program towbarless tow tractors.
12.Maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Employer’s insurance policy. (See Vehicle Safety Policy)
13.Will perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.

Qualifications: •
Minimum high school diploma or its equivalent •
5+ years of experience in one or more of the maintenance trades such as electrician, plumber, steamfitter, carpenter, painter, heavy, medium or light duty mechanic, millwright, heating, air conditioning technician, or other similar skilled trades. •
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.•Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. •
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively. •
Complete ELSU SAF training as directed by management. •
Ability to read basic electrical and hydraulic schematics. •
Ability to read and understand repair manuals for GSE equipment.
