Under general supervision perform maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, baggage systems, boarding bridges, and facilities.
1.Performs servicing/repairing, lubricating, cleaning, period checking of automotive equipment and facilities.
2.Compliance with ELS safety program policies and procedures.
3.Installing and checking of fire extinguishing equipment.
4.Perform the sequence of operations to troubleshoot, disassemble, clean, check, repair, rework, replace, fabricate, install and adjust any building component, plant equipment, automotive and ground equipment, machinery, accessories, parts, etc., and explaining the work procedures to personnel assigned to assist in that work.
5.Work according to Company regulations and procedures, and instruction from Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
6.Completes forms connected with his work assignments according to established procedures.
7.Will communicate with other Company personnel as required in a manner designated by the Company.
8.Maintain a valid driverâs license and be insurable under the Employerâs insurance policy. (See Vehicle Safety Policy)
9.Will perform additional duties/assignments as may be required by management.
Minimum high school diploma or its equivalent
Automotive skills and experience.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field.
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have own tools.
