Dietary/ Food Service Manager

This position will supervise a team of Dietary staff and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department for a Skilled Nursing Home in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. This position assures that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis. This position will lead the department in resident satisfaction with food quality and meal service. The successful leader will develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents and other tem members and will train and direct his/ her team towards providing outstanding customer dining services.

Job Requirements:
-Must have 2 years of culinary arts experience.
-Must have 2 years of management experience in Healthcare setting.
-Ability to develop staff through training, coaching, and mentoring.
-Maintains compliance standards for meal services and food quality.
-Performs daily audits of safety, sanitation, and meal delivery.
-Conducts meetings with residents to ensure satisfaction with services.
-Ensures a safe work environment for staff.
-Attends food service committee.
