This person will assist with social media duties. He/she will be responsible in assisting the Social Media Coordinator with daily content updates through Team USA social media platforms, analytics reporting, and campaign ideation and implementation.


Functions include but are not limited to the following:

1. Publish content (stories, photos, videos, blogs, etc.) to the Team USA social media platforms

2. Explore and recommend new ways to engage users and grow reach through established and emerging social media platforms

3. Produce analytics reports on Team USA social media platforms

4. Monitor Team USA social media platforms on a consistent basis

Select at least 2 special projects & specific responsibilities:

  • Create analytics reports
  • Daily editorial input into the Team USA social media platforms
  • Required Skills TOOLS/EQUIPMENT:
    • Standard Office Equipment
    • Microsoft Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook
    • Proficiency with internet search capabilities and usage telecommunications equipment, fax machine, copier
    • Office environment in multi-story building on multi-building site
    • Nontraditional hours required (including some work on weekends)

    Required Experience QUALILFICATIONS:
    • Educational Requirements: Enrolled in a Bachelor degree program at the junior or senior level status or enrolled in a Master degree program. Preferred degrees: Marketing, Digital Media, Communications
    • AP Style Fluent
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook
    • Knowledge of Radian6, Twitter Ads, HootSuite and PhotoShop a plus
    • Passion for sport and the Ideals of the Olympic Movement
    • Sport experience preferred (i.e., active in competitive/intramural sports).
    • Must be eligible to work in the USA.
    • Excellent communication and human relations skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced multidisciplinary team environment.
    • Willingness to participate in the full Intern Program
