Primary Responsibilities:
Leo Burnett is recruiting a Senior
Digital Producer to work within the Detroit digital group to manage the
creative and technical workflow of highly conceptual interactive and
experiential work. Our Producer will have the ability to lead in practice and
build a staff that can effectively balance longer-term creative and strategic
issues with day-to-day tactical project challenges, be client-facing, and work
closely with creative, account, and development teams. The Senior Digital
Producer will own projects from start to finish which includes estimating
resources and managing resources, developing a project plan, owning partner and
vendor relationships, creating the production estimate and seeing the project through
to completion on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
Thought
leadership both strategic and creative to help facilitate and give
direction across multiple business interfaces internally, with client and
third parties.

Must
be decisive, diplomatic and possess solid problem solving skills. This is
the foundation for working harmoniously as a team player within a variety
of different departments and teams (including creative, account, media,
art buying, programming, designers and vendors).

Coordinate
all business issues including contracts, licensing and vendor costs.
Ensure that all art, audio, and video are cleared through art buying and
business affairs before being used in a project.

Responsible
for the quality assurance of all
projects, both for the content that is being presented as well as the
technical nature of the delivery.

Adapt
projects to the changing and evolving needs of the client's organization,

technology advancements and the business requirements.

Provide the vision and direction for
their staff and evolve the organization to meet the challenges associated
with a dynamic industry.

Develop
and maintain budgets and schedules while directing delivery team members,
developing and managing project/program schedules, scope and budgets for
web-based projects.

Manage
client and team expectations and communications flow as it relates to
production and internal project team.

Lead in developing,
co-owning and representing the team's consensus in communicating within agency,
with client’s and in vendor management.

Define and manage team
expectations regarding scope of work and responsibilities.

Utilize
progress tracking and reporting vehicles to manage workflow and report
project status to client and team members.

Managing
internal and external resource allocation and utilizations.

Maintain
continuous contact with the development, creative, and account team to
facilitate information exchange.

Lead team in advancing
the projects, identifying issues that require attention and take appropriate
action to resolve those issues. Identifying and mitigating project/program
risks

Hire,
train, and lead a team of project managers.

Leadership in
developing new agency products, processes and services.

Negotiating and
resolving high level creative and client issues.

Qualifications:
2-5
years management experience

5-7
years experience in Internet Project Management or Producer and 5 years in
one of the following areas; multi-media design, advertising agency
creative, or web site development. PMI certification a plus.

Must
be knowledgeable in concepts and production elements of the web. Areas of
experience include HTML, Flash, file sizes, delivery formats, and content
management, as well as the capabilities and limitations of browsers and
the web.

Consulting
experience and or equivalent academic credentials in related field
strongly desired.

Video,
Publishing and editorial experience a plus.

Client
Services and/or Automotive experience is a plus.

Knowledge
of best practices for digital project management, as well as an
understanding of marketing workflow

Excellent
written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency
in core office software packages: Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint. Mac
and PC. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize project deliverables while
troubleshooting, at times, new technologies and formats.
