The Sous Chef will be responsible for the supervision of all food production and will assist with menu planning and inventory. The Sous Chef will prepare food daily as outlined on the Food Production Lists and be able to produce a consistent product in a timely manner. The Sous Chef will ensure proper sanitation and storage kitchen and assist with safety and training procedures in the handling of all food service equipment. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef with the supervision and responsibility for providing culinary leadership to the dining services department and associates to ensure the high quality, nutritional content and wholesomeness of foods served. This position will contribute to 3030's efforts to achieve '5 Star' status for the residents and their families and guests.
Previous experience supervising and supporting production functions of all kitchen associates and the ability to motivate staff and continually improve performance

Culinary training through an accredited program or four years experience in a restaurant

Must have Safe Service certification or equivalent

Basic computer skills
