Dining Services Attendant- FT
Serves customers in a professional and courteous manner. Works independently and efficiently to set up and open various campus locations according to the specific requirements of each operation. Has the flexibility to move from one location to the next location as directed by supervisor in order to meet department-wide needs. Handles daily cash receipts and transactions with credit/debit cards. Assures the cleanliness of assigned location.
High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. One to three years experience in restaurant, college or cafe-style food service is preferred. Good customer service and oral communication skills required. Attention to detail, with knowledge of cash handling procedures required. Need to possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and the ability to take direction. State certification in food safety, with Rhode Island sanitation certificate preferred.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
