The Director of Medical Center Security Services is responsible to provide leadership to all medical center security functions, including security operations, facility access control systems, medical center identification program, and emergency communications. The director plans and directs all activities related to ensuring the security of medical center patients, families, visitors, employees, students, and properties. The director has oversight over all security services financial management, tracking and reporting performance and quality metrics, policy and procedure development, staffing planning and supervision, and security investigations.
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, institutional safety, or related social or behavioral sciences field
Ten years of combined experience in healthcare security and/or law enforcement, with at least five years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role..
Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) Certification required
