Job Summary/Essential Functions : This is an open recruitment; three days' notice will be provided prior to closure of recruitment. Screening will begin on September 23, 2013.
Serves as a senior member of the Advancement Team, an integrated and independent division including Alumni, Development, Marketing/Communications, and Advancement Services. Manages all aspects of the development program for Eastern Washington University and plans and coordinate estate planning programs to promote deferred giving vehicles to Eastern Washington University by alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the University.
Conditions of Employment : Position requires travel for donor relations purposes.
This position, during the course of university employment, will be involved in the receipt of, or accountability for, university funds or other items of value; as well as the unsupervised access with the developmentally disabled, vulnerable adults or children under the age of 16. Successful applicant will be required to pass a background check.

Minimum Qualifications : Requires Bachelors degree and five years work experience in legal field, alumni affairs, public relations, fund raising, sales and promotions, marketing, student activities or related field.
Candidate must demonstrate interest, ability and/or experience promoting cultural competency and/or diversity.
