The reliability engineer will be a highly self-motivated person who’s passionate about improving current product reliability and driving reliability at design.
Extremely comfortable working hands-on in a laboratory with robotics and large instrumentation.
**The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be to lead reliability and quality improvements for a large complex, diagnostic instrument platform, drive CAPAs to closure and contribute to quality and regulatory initiatives.
Education: MS Degree in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering is preferred; BS degree in an engineering discipline is required.. Six Sigma green belt preferred. ASQ certified as Reliability Engineer (CRE) preferred.
**Must have experience in a highly regulated industry such as medical device (instrumentation), 3-5 years experience in a reliability engineering role. Or Aerospace.
**Be proficient with risk analysis tools FMEA, FTA, Design Verification Testing, Product Return Rate Analysis, FRACAS, and Root Cause Failure Analysis is required.
**Excellent analytical skills and solid expertise in DOE, Minitab, JMP, Statistical Analysis,
**Experience with software tools to perform reliability analysis. Minitab is preferred.
Excellent communication skills are a requirement to successfully interface with global internal customers, vendor partners, international service organization, etc. Willingness and ability to travel (domestic and international) 10-20% of the time.
