Target compensation opportunity (Base salary plus Sales Incentive) is $75k. Sales incentive opportunity can significantly increase income potentials.
Responsible for selling Individual Health Insurance and ancillary products and providing high level customer service. Ensures sales goals are met. Sells WellPoint products in a professional and consultative manner. Provides thorough and effective customer service. Provide timely and accurate response to all customers. Provide customers with oral and written information as well as a detailed quote on the WellPoint plans and services. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of all WellPoint products and services. Studies competitive products and related industry issues and maintains a personal awareness of competitive advantages and disadvantages. Optimizes closing opportunities utilizing all sales tools and skills available. Complete accurate documentation, maintains records and updates database documentation of all activities during the sales cycle. Ensures accurate documentation of leads and sales received from all sources. Maintain efficient record keeping system and ensures all business is tracked throughout the underwriting process. Works cooperatively and professionally with departmental and inter-departmental co-workers. Attends department meetings and training. And other duties as assigned.
HS Diploma and two years sales exp preferred. Ability to type and excellent PC Skills. Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to work in team environment. Life and Disability Agent license required.
Full-time. 8 hour working days between the hours of 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM. Some weekend rotation.
Must be willing to work on a hourly base salary plus sales incentive.
