General Purpose: Primary role will be to manage litigation engagements related to delivery of expert witness testimony for economic disputes in the areas of fraud and forensics and complex commercial litigation. This is an ideal position for a proven manager/director of fraud/forensics litigation engagements who desires more opportunities to transition into the expert testifier role.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Oversight/performance of financial analysis and damage calculations
  • Oversight/performance of research functions
  • Preparation and/or review of written reports, exhibits and demonstratives
  • Development of staff members, both technically and professionally
  • Interaction with client in engagement-management role (including assistance with discovery process)
  • Development of skills and technical expertise to facilitate delivery of expert testimony
  • Delivery of marketing and/or technical presentations
  • Delivery of work product in timely fashion, as fiscally planned
  • Development of practice management systems to enhance ability to deliver work product and develop staff
  • Pursuit of professional advancement through designations and continuing education
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to critically analyze financial statements and other financial documents
  • Understanding of litigation process

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with intermediate-level accounting issues (reporting systems, managerial accounting, tax returns)
  • Familiarity with intermediate-level microeconomics
  • Familiarity with intermediate-level corporate finance
  • Familiarity with intermediate-level statistics
  • Ability to work with changing client-imposed deadlines
Education and/or Training:
  • Minimum of 8-10 years consulting experience in a financial advisory services group, with at least three of those years spent in a top tier litigation services group
  • 4 year degree, advanced degree a plus
  • Designations welcome (CPA, CFA, ASA, CMA, CIRA, CTP, CFE)
