The Director of Education (DOE) will ensure ethical conduct, sound business practices, student success and team development, with focus on the ATI mission and Core Values on the campus. In this position, the Director of Education provides departmental leadership, vision, goal setting and their resulting outcomes. The enhancement of student learning and achievement, retention of a strong and experienced faculty, and the advancement of compliant educational practices, resulting in successful student outcomes are also primary responsibilities of the Director of Education.

Directors of Education are expected to be available during campus hours, which are typically 7:00am to 11:00pm Monday through Friday and occasional weekends. The DOE ED will be assigned blackberry and laptop and will be expected to be available for consultation after hours, weekends and holidays. This job is not eligible for overtime pay.

Lead the Education Department at the campus level, providing oversight and leadership to ensure successful student outcomes and compliant campus operations 
Meet educational outcomes objectives for the programs offered at the campus, and ensure sound academic operations 
Lead services and activities to ensure a quality educational experience for our students 
Conduct departmental meetings, review and analyze assessment data, compile reports, and meet operational and administrative deadlines 
Lead the on-going development and consistent implementation of campus curriculum, course learning materials, educational resources, and student assessments 
Ensure that instructional materials and equipment are sufficiently comprehensive, similar to those found in common occupational practice, and are sufficient in quantity, are properly maintained and are in working order 
Lead ongoing faculty assessments and professional development activities that are appropriate to the school's size and educational offerings to ensure an active and engaged classroom experience for all students 
Establish departmental priorities and goals, and implement the actions aligned with the larger company strategy 
Monitor and ensure departmental compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory bodies' guidelines, along with internal policies of the company 
Ensure that each team member has the knowledge and skill to successfully meet the requirements of their position through hiring, training, coaching, and supervising of personnel 
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in education, or related field from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education 
5 years of leadership or management experience in post-secondary education setting within the past 10 years 
Knowledge of and experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in adult education or related field 
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse groups of employees and customers 
Demonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude 
Ability to lead and work in an observation/coaching style environment 
Capability to prioritize, accept responsibility, and work within deadlines 
Superior organizational and problem-resolution skills 
Demonstrated commitment to customer service 
Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to develop, motivate, and mentor staff 
Strong computer software skills including Microsoft Office 
Must have past records of integrity that would ensure compliance with accrediting standards and applicable federal, state, and local requirements
Master’s degree from an academic institution accredited by a regional or national accrediting agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education 
Previous Director of Education/Dean/Academic Management experience at the post-secondary level 
Experience teaching in private post-secondary institutions 
Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation regulations applicable to the proprietary education industry
Typical Indoor Office environment; little/no exposure to elements. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
