Director Digital Operations - SEM

Job Summary:

This position directs operations and fulfillment of all content-based internet advertising products. Assures accurate products such as SEM, SEO, Online Video, Websites, Banners, Direct Mail and Search Listings are produced and implemented. Oversees the optimization and effectiveness of Publishing personnel in fifty state regions (all region sales channels) assigning management, clerical and contractor resources, defining roles for all personnel, and providing tools and training as appropriate. Sets strategy and manages organizational transition through the implementation of new technology, staffing changes and team structure changes.

Job Details:

• Plans and directs Internet Fulfillment operations that assure products such as Search, Video, and Websites. Banners and Tiles are produced and distributed for our customers. Develops strategies required to implement system and process changes that assure product accuracy in light of the changing environment working through multiple providers. Creates and implements objectives and ensures that they are met with high quality output, minimal production costs, and appropriate time frames. Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure that all products are produced accurately, timely and in compliance with all regulatory obligations. Monitors performance to maintain productivity standards. Creates an environment within Publishing that focuses on continuous improvement.

• Partner with other members of the YP teams to integrate Internet center operations with those of other parts of the company to ensure a smooth workflow and the best customer and sales technical support.

• Evaluate customer and sales support processes and implement collective actions in the Internet center to provide an industry leading experience. Track and manage quality and product accuracy to minimize risk of revenue loss through adjustments of customer billing.

• Interfaces with product, sales, and marketing teams to allow smooth introduction of new products and cross-functional processes. Provide input on business plans to determine the impact to center operations. Provide input to the long range planning process to ensure that Internet center concerns are addressed and plans are inclusive of resources to enhance the viability of the center and the company.

Candidate Requirements :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

• Experience managing large operations teams and digital advertising suppliers.
• Industry knowledge of digital media and other advertising products
• Experience or support of digital media sales and marketing services.
• Management of Graphic Design or Website Construction - Preferred
• Google Ad Words certified – Preferred
• Six Sigma or LEAN – Black Belt - Preferred
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

Background Experiences

• Min. 4 yr. degree – Required
• Degree in Business Administration or Engineering - Preferred
• MBA - Preferred
• 5-10 years experience managing operations teams and digital advertising suppliers
• Industry knowledge of digital media and other advertising products
• Experience in sales or sales support of digital media advertising - Preferred
• Experience leading major cross-functional projects that included negotiating resources, creating project plans and time lines, identifying and removing roadblocks.
