This position reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and is primarily responsible for the technical services infrastructure and vendor management of the BK outsourcing partner. The candidate provides leadership, guidance, and direction in the design and engineering of technology systems. Also, provides administration and technical support to maintain effective and efficient operation of the corporation’s infrastructure and associated system software.
Prioritize and direct team (internal and external) in the support of Burger King Corporation's infrastructure (servers, network, telephony and Web); corporate data bases; and corporate Data Warehouse. Daily activities for team include: problem resolution and escalation; monitoring and regular maintenance.
Responsible for vendor management and SLA adherence for all IT Infrastructure contracts.
Provide strategic and tactical direction for corporate utilization of technology as well as design and implementation of technical architecture.
Collaborate with corporate decision-makers in identifying and prioritizing business needs
Delegate management of general expenses for team's cost centers, and review results on a regular basis. Manage capital expenditures in support of technology projects and hardware/software acquisitions.
Manage relationship with technology vendors. Review and revise vendor contracts and ensure that contract terms and conditions are favorable to Burger King Corporation.
Bachelors degree in computer science, business information systems or computer engineering highly recommended. MBA is highly desired.
