The Clinical Resource RN – SME PI is responsible for working with the PI Team, facility SCD, facility CRM and Division CRM to indentify and implement strategic cost saving initiatives. This position will review and optimize for the current GPO contract portfolio, execute on product standardization with a facility in conjunction with PI project and HCA Supply chain initiatives. The Clinical Resource RN is responsible for assisting with the presentation of those proposals to hospital and division leadership.
· Strategically plans and implements process improvement projects with hospital executives and division leadership to reduce supply expense
· Develops and implements product standardization and utilization
· Reviews utilization and cost data to identify waste
· Works with facility SCD and facility CRM to reduce the number of SKUs by standardization, increase product quality, evaluate processes and introduce new products
· Actively communicates and educates all affected facility departments and PI Team members regarding product and procedure changes
· Measures and continuously verifies process improvements and cost savings
· Collaborates with facility PI members, facility SCD, facility CRM and PI Team to identify and implement cost savings and revenue enhancement strategies
· Develop, distribute and review department specific assessments at each facility project
· Identify gaps in the assessment related to process improvement. Makes recommendations and creates an action plan while working with facility director to improve process related efficiencies
· Responsible for implementation of their prepared action plan
· Builds and maintains strong, effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders; including hospital-based leadership, staff, and physicians
      Provides effective communication and presentations to senior leadership, hospital executives, and various HCA departments and project partners, including: Clinical Services Group, Quality, Supply Chain, Strategic Resource Group, and Management Engineers
      · Develops strategic documents, such as: communication plans, detailed project plans, and project updates/presentations
      · Directs multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment
      · Communicates routinely with Assistant Vice President concerning recommendations and suggested courses of action pertinent to the efficient operation of assigned facility projects
      · Practices and adheres to the HCA "Code of Conduct" and "Mission and Value Statement"
      · Other duties as assigned
      Qualifications
      EDUCATION:
      Bachelor’s degree required

      QUALIFICATIONS:
      4-5 years hospital experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting
      Minimum of 2 years experience as a CRM
      Must be proficient in written, verbal, and presentation skills
      Experience in leading large-scale projects

      Experience with cost management systems preferred

      Travel required, 80% with the routine schedule being

      o Travel out on Monday morning
      o Travel back on Thursday noon
      o Friday is work from office

      CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: RN required
