The Director of Plant Operations administers and directs programs to maintain building, grounds and equipment of both facilities. Coordinates these activities with other departments to insure safe and efficient operation and environment. The Director is responsible for the management in both facilities of all functions of the Maintenance Department, Security Department and Safety/Disaster Committee and for all related issues in compliance with Corporate guidelines, federal, state and local regulations and accreditating agencies. |
Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5 years experience supervising facilities maintenance and operations within a complex medical center, or
Contract review/Adminstration or an Associate's Degree in related field with 7 years experience in previously described areas, or
Certified Facilities Management Certification with 10 years experience in the previously described area, or
HVAC trade school certification with 15 years in the previously described ares.
Degrees be from a regionally acredited institution.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Capable of relating to diverse age and demographic backgrounds.
Analytical ability sufficient to evaluate data, make judgments and recommendations regarding operations and budgets, design protocols and generate well developed reports.
